Fantastic News - One of our tutors for Festival, Laurel Judd, has just returned home after winning the knitwear section and the race wear section of the Australian Wool Fashion Awards.
There is still space left in her class. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn from a winning designer.

Creative Fibre (www.creativefibre.org.nz) the New Zealand organisation for all fibre crafts holds a yearly festival that brings together spinners, weavers, knitters, dyers, flax workers, felters, crocheters, free form fibre artists and all other people involved in the use of fibre. Our mission is to explore, create and inspire with fibre.
Members of Creative Fibre Wellington Area are very excited to be hosting the festival, themed Fabric of Life, in Porirua City at the stunning Te Rauparaha Arena (www.terauparaha-arena.co.nz) and Pataka Museum of Arts and Cultures (www.pataka.org.nz).
The Festival will be offering an extensive range of presentations and classes and we are thrilled to announce that spinning guru Patsy Zawistoski from the United States, more affectionately known as 'Patsy Z', will be tutoring. The national exhibition will be held at Pataka, and we will offer various other textile-related displays along with a buzzing trades hall.
Mark your calendar and come and join us.
